Dangerous Visions - An "omni-dimensional" evening of poetry, dance, music, fashion and imagery.
Dangerous Visions was a changing conglomerate of writers, poets, performance artist, actors, designers and photographers. Over an eight year time frame we raised money for various area charities including: the Waterloo Regional Food Bank, The Betty Thompson Youth Centre and Remote Area Medical Volunteers. Dangerous Visions' original design concept was developed by Alan Kirker and Patrick Wey. Eight poetry nights over several years through the late 1980's into the 90's featured many local artists in ALL arts disciplines.
We raised money for The Waterloo Region Food Bank, Betty Thompson Youth Centre, and Remote Area Medical Volunteers. Performers included David Earle – dance, Danny Michel – musician, David Worsely - spoken word, Patrick Wey – photography, Lindsay Stewart - Emcee/ musician, Ken Brown - musician, Nonie Crete - musician, Scott Wicken - Emcee / spoken word, Anna Hillen - poet, Kenneth Emberly - writer, Donna McCaw – poet, Renato Foti – sculptor, David Hobson – spoken word, Simon Frank – poet, Maynard Luterman – poet.
